You'll have a fun-filled evening while learning more about Tharu culture. The young Tharu men and women from Barauli, who are performing traditional folk songs and dances for you while dressed in ethnic garb, can be seen. They will be narrating tales about events that are essential to their rural Nepalese way of life, like the harvest and religious rituals. The performers will sing and dance in the center of the courtyard while you all assemble outdoors and are seated in a circle around it. You can anticipate seeing dances like the fire dance, the peacock dance, the Bhajayati, and Thekara stick dances, among others. You may even learn the dance steps and add your own flair by joining the dancers if you're interested!
Once you reach Danda Bazaar in Nawalpur, you will see a big gate signifying Danda. Head south on the main road that leads through Danda Bazaar. Continue on this road and there are signboards specifically pointing towards Barauli Community Homestay which are situated at noticeable points.
