Head east from the Narayanhiti Palace Museum. Continue till you see Narayan Hiti Pond to your right and walk on till two blocks ahead. You will find the Community Homestay Network's signboard at the end of a street. Please enter the street and continue straight till you see our office to your left.

What to expect

Experience mask painting with skilled local artisans, starting the workshop with an overview of mask-making's history and its cultural significance. Learn to apply a foundational layer of white clay, witness its drying, and then venture into the exciting process of mask painting.

Under the guidance of the artisans, explore the color palette's symbolism, patterns, and symbols used while painting in the mask. As you add your personal touches, you'll put an end to the session with a complete mask of your own.
