She will cook each course with you step by step and share the secrets of Parma most traditional recipes, accumulated after years of cooking experience. You cannot but round off your cooking class around the table, enjoying your own meal with a glass of local wine!

In a gorgeous Italian country villa garden, partake in a traditional aperitif with mouth-watering starters with your hostess, the lady of the house.

Main

Tortelli d’erbetta and tagliatelle al pomodoro

With your hostess, you will prepare tagliatelle with tomato and basil and tortelli with filling of ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano and local chards

Dessert

Sbrisolona

To finish off your experience, you will try a regional favorite, a crumbly almond cookie-style dessert and end with a coffee

The villa is located just outside the city centre of Parma. The ride by car or taxi will take about 10 mins from the city centre. You can also reach the Villa by a 35 minutes walk. If you arrive from other cities, please contact us to receive our best quote for a private trasfer.

What to expect

Every successful cooking class must start with a nice aperitivo! Meet the local cook at her own villa at 10:30 am (lunch option) or at 4:30 pm (dinner option) and before getting your hands dirty sit in a gorgeous garden of the villa and enjoy some finger-food with a glass of wine while chit-chatting with your hostess.

COOKING CLASS

Observe the cook at work and learn how to prepare fresh egg pasta from the scratch.
During the cooking class you will prepare two types of pasta - classical tagliatelle with tomato and basil and tortelli d’erbetta, traditional pasta with a filling of ricotta cheese, spinach and Parmigiano Reggiano, a must-try in Parma. You will be hands-on for the entire cooking class.
Listen to the cook’s secrets and have fun learning all the secrets of Parma cuisine!

LUNCH/DINNER

In a nice setting of the villa, sit at a table together with your cook and savor your meal matched with some excellent local wine.
Round off the experience with a local crunchy almond cake sbrisolona and a good coffee.
