Come to know one of the most important destinations in your visit to Costa Rica. This town without access by road will show you a natural paradise that will captivate you.
In the early morning your guide will go to look for you at your hotel in San José. Along the way he will tell you about Costa Rica and Tortuguero. Halfway we will stop for breakfast before catching the boat to reach this peculiar town.
Once everything is arranged in your room in the lodge at the edge of the canal, you can eat before leaving in the afternoon to visit the town with the guide. Dinner also at the lodge.
The next day you will make 2 visits, one to the lodge reservation and another by boat through the Tortuguero canals (entrance to the National Park not included). Of course, all meals in the lodge between excursions.
The third day after breakfast, you will return by boat to San José or if you prefer to Guápiles from where you can connect to another destination in Costa Rica.

Itinerary

1Tortuguero Canal
They will pick you up in the morning to go out to Tortuguero. You will pass through the dense primary forest of the P.N. Braulio Carrillo until you reach Guápiles where they will wait for you with a good breakfast before continuing to Tortuguero. You will continue the boat trip on the river and hopefully you will see an animal that hides in the vegetation. They will receive you with a welcome cocktail. After lunch you will visit the town of Tortuguero with the guide discovering this picturesque town that can only be reached by river.

2Tortuguero National Park
After breakfast you will take a guided tour of the hotel garden with butterfly garden and ranario, and you will also know the ecological processes of energy generation through a digester. At noon you will have food at the hotel. In the afternoon you will visit with the local guide the P.N. Tortuguero through its canals and you will see the rich flora and fauna of this special place. During the night you will have dinner at the hotel.

3Tortuguero Canal
After breakfast you will continue your trip again in the boat through the canals to Guápiles where you will have the food. You can return to San José to a hotel or continue the trip from there to another destination.
