Lake Mutanda is a small, freshwater lake in the far southwest of Uganda, close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. It is drained by the Rutshuru River, flowing northward to Lake Edward. Lake Mutanda is a 30-minute drive from the centre of Kisoro. With an altitude of 1,800m, it is a great place to hike, and it offers breath-taking views of The Virunga Mountains.
In the morning after having your breakfast, you will check-in at the Park's Headquarter for legal formality before the trekking adventure starts, Bwindi is habitat to more than half the world’s population of Mountain Gorillas. actually there are over 300 mountain gorillas living here. Based on how physically fitted you are, we will arrange so that you can track Gorillas via a preferable hike. Once, you meet them, you will be happy to spend one hour or above with these endangered creatures while learning more about their lifestyle. After the tracking, our driver guide will directly drive you back to Kigali.
