A one-day trip to Ourika Valley or Yureken, as the people of the region call it in Tamazight, is an escape trip to a quiet place away from the world's high speed, the lights, and the noise of cities. You can visit the local market of the country, every Monday and Friday: butchers and hairdressers, vegetables, cereals, and olive oil sellers, blacksmiths and sorcerers meet in the tent and under shelters of reeds, with a number of small restaurants scattered in the open air.

2Ourika Valley
you will take the road to the Atlas and cross superb landscapes between immensities of green meadows and authentic Berber villages of the 16th and 17th centuries. Continue your way through the valley of palm trees following the Ourika, the local river. On the road, discover many fruit trees, tiny villages, the river bordered by a few restaurants, and the vacation homes of a few lucky lucky people.
