You will be dropped off in Piazza Guglielmo II. Here you can visit the beautiful cathedral of Monreale. It has been included in the list of Unesco world heritage sites and is considered one of the most important medieval churches in the world. The mosaics of the cathedral are something simply unique and perfect. It is also possible to access, for a fee, different areas of the cathedral, such as the terraces. Adjacent to the cathedral is the monastery of San Benedetto. The cloister of the monastery has a square plan in Romanesque style, characterized by more than 90 columns decorated with mosaics and Romanesque capitals. In the center of the cloister there is a garden, with a palm-shaped fountain from whose leaves water gushes. Also near the cathedral is the interesting Diocesan Museum. From Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II you can see the Duomo and admire the famous marble fountain called the Triton Fountain. Don't miss the Belvedere!

Castelbuono is inserted in a territory with very ancient origins, that of the Madonie valley. Here you can see the famous and magnificent medieval church of S. Francesco, inside which the Baroque funeral chapel of the Ventimiglia family is preserved. In the church you can admire particular Byzantine frescoes. Unique is also the seventeenth-century church of the new matrix with baroque altars, a fifteenth-century crucifix and the polyptych with the Madonna, Child and saints of the sixteenth century. You will also find the collections of the civic museum with archaeological finds, specimens of plants, insects and fossils from the area. In the main square of Castelbuono, there is the Bar di Fiasconaro. It is the place where it is possible to taste panettone, a typical dessert of the Christmas tradition, redesigned and revisited in a Sicilian key all year round.

The itinerary to see Cefalù starts from Lungomare Giuseppe Giardina and follow it until the beginning of Via Vittorio Emanuele, where the houses begin. DA here a walk through the narrow streets, the old houses, the shops, the restaurants and the ice cream parlors. Halfway down Via Vittorio Emanuele is the medieval washhouse, which is accessed through a lava stone staircase. Continuing past the wash-house, you arrive at Porta Pescara, an opening from which you can see the sea. Shortly after Porta della Pescara on your left you will find Piazza Marina with the pier of the old port. From the old port you can see the most fascinating part of Cefalu: the houses with balconies directly on the sea. Continuing on the main street, Corso Ruggero, after a few meters you will find yourself in the town hall square in front of which you can see the Cathedral of Cefalù. The remaining time of the tour will be used to move between the attractions visited.
