Start your day with a scenic, family-friendly rafting trip on the Colorado River near Moab. This approximately four-hour adventure explores the section locals call the “Moab Daily,” surrounded by red-rock cliffs, Professor Valley and views toward Fisher Towers.
Mild Class I–II rapids make this an excellent choice for first-time rafters, families and multigenerational groups. Help paddle, enjoy the splashy sections or relax while your guide shares stories about the area’s geology, history and desert landscape.
Way to Moab is a small, owner-operated company focused on personal service and a welcoming river experience. Your trip includes a professional guide, rafting equipment, personal flotation devices, transportation from our downtown Moab shop, drinking water, snacks and water guns.
The morning departure leaves your afternoon open for Arches, Canyonlands or more time exploring Moab.

We typically meet at our shop and shuttle to the put-in location. At the end of the rafting trip, immediately return customers to our shop location. All our vehicles are clearly marked with the Way to Moab logo.
Meet your guide at the Way to Moab shop before traveling along scenic Highway 128 to the Colorado River. After a safety briefing and getting fitted with your life jacket, launch onto the Moab Daily for a relaxed morning of rafting through Professor Valley. Float beneath towering red-rock cliffs and desert formations while your guide points out local geology, history, wildlife, and landmarks along the river. Between the calm stretches of water, paddle through several small whitewater rapids for a fun splash of excitement. When conditions allow, there may be opportunities to cool off, swim, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. After several hours on the river, reach the take-out and ride back to Moab. This beginner-friendly trip combines scenery, mild whitewater, and time on the water, making it a good choice for families and first-time rafters. Minimum age is 5 years old or approximately 50 lbs.
