Our tour includes the main tourist attractions and a little bit extra. Great for a medium length stay at Siem Reap.
We provide a professional tour. We only use high quality transport. All our drivers are experienced and qualified. Likewise our guides are qualified, mature and experienced. We avoid external services, e.g. restaurants that do not provide a similar high quality service.
Guests should wait in the hotel lobby. Pickup on the first day is from 8:15am to 8:30am.
After organising tickets for Angkor Park, we visit Angkor Thom first and head for Bayon temple with its many stone faces.
Baphoun temple is nearby Bayon, so we have a quick stop and have a look.
Moving on a little further, we stop to see the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, both also within the Angkor Thom area.
Leaving Angkor Phrom to the East, we drop by Ta Phrom temple, famous for the ancient trees that strangle the temple buildings with their massive roots. This temple was featured in the Tomb Raider movie starring Angelia Jolie.
After a break for lunch at a nearby restaurant, we continue to the main attraction, Angkor Wat.
Finally, we head off to Phnom Bakheng where we probably mix with a large crowd at the top of this ancient temple. We have to go there a bit early and wait due to a restriction on numbers at the summit.
We start very early! We leave your hotel at 5:00am or earlier and head straight for Angkor Wat. Waiting with the early risers, we see the sun rise over Angkor Wat, a wonderful and beautiful sight if the weather is kind.
From Angkor Wat, we return to your hotel so you can enjoy your inclusive breakfast (assuming its included) in your room rate. We can stop at a restaurant if you prefer.
After breakfast, we drive back to Angkor and stop at Preah Khan temple
From Preah Khan, we go nextdoor and stop to see Neak Pean in the middle of a man-made lake.
Once more, just a short distance away, we stop to visit Ta Som temple.
1.5km further on, we stop to see the ruins of Eastern Mebon temple. Then after so many temple, we need a break, so we find somewhere to stop for lunch.
After lunch, settle back for a long drive to see the pink ladies Temple of Banteay Srei.
On the return journey, we head for Banteay Samre temple, but we can stop for a short while to see palm sugar manufacture or to visit the landmine museum if guests are interested.
The final stop before returning to town is at Banteai Kdei.
Starting at 8:30am, we go directly to the boat port nearby Kpg Phluok on the edge of Tonle Sap lake. from there, we steadily move along the river on motorized boat and we tour the flooded villages. Most houses are built on 30 metre stilts to cope with the variable water levels between dry and rainy seasons. We normally stop on the main island to visit the Pagoda.
After lunch at a floating cafe, we head off for dry land and onto the Roluos group of temples, including Bakong temple, Preah Ko and Lolei.
Once more back in town, we stop off to see some of the crafts and souvenirs, either at Artisans D'Angkor or at the old market in downtown Siem Reap.
