  Batu Caves

  One of the highlights of a visit here is climbing the 272 steps leading up to the temple. Located in a limestone outcrop, Batu Caves is a unique and fascinating cave temple. Batu Caves consists of three big caves, with the main cave housing ornate Hindu shrines. This destination draws a huge international crowd during Thaipusam, an annual festival which pays homage to Lord Muruga. A recent addition here is the 140-feet statue of Lord Muruga, which is visible from miles away.

  Strawberry picking is a fun experience that children and adults love. When you are on the way to Resort World Genting, don’t forget you can stop by at the foot hills of Genting Highlands and visit the locally famous Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms where you can self pick strawberries and enjoy the mountain breeze and scent of lavender plant. One of its most picturesque features is the Lavender Garden, which is fitted with unique fountains surrounded by blooming lavender flowers. Various kiosks can be found throughout the farm, selling honey, cactus, clothing, soft toys and souvenirs, while visitors feeling a bit peckish can enjoy simple dishes at the onsite strawberry-themed restaurant.

  Genting Highlands Premium Outlets

  Sprawling outdoor shopping center with many well-known outlet stores & a diverse food court. Genting Highlands Premium Outlets is an open-air shopping mall with an extensive collection of designer fashion, sportswear, luggage, accessories, and shoes. Set opposite Awana Genting Highlands Golf and Resort. The shopping mall is also next to the Awana Skyway Station, where you can enjoy a cable car ride to the top of Genting Highlands. There, you can find several resorts and attractions, including Skycasino, Arena of Stars theatre, SkyAvenue Mall, and the 20th Century Fox World Malaysia Theme Park.

  Fly up in just 10 minutes from the Awana Station at mid-hill to the SkyAvenue Station at the peak. With the same ticket, you get a free stop at the Chin Swee Station, where you can explore the beautiful Chin Swee Caves Temple.

  First World Plaza is a shopping and entertainment complex at Genting Resort; perched above is the First World Hotel while at bottom, Skytropolis Fun land Theme Park and a direct connection to Sky Avenue next door. Glamorous and bold, the First World Plaza is as bright inside as its multi-colored facade, with colorful lights and interactive attractions mostly emanating from Skytropolis's design. Signature attractions besides Skytropolis Fun land include Snow World, Ripley's Believe It or Not Adventure land, Vision City Games Park, The Void (virtual reality gaming experience), Big Top Video Games Park and Genting Bowl. Finally, the shopping experience comprises over 30 retail outlets and restaurants.
