Meeting and pickup
We'll be meeting you at the Kosi Mouth reserve entrance gate. Please don't forget to buy your permits for the Kosi Mouth reserve at your lodge, the Kosi Bay 3rd lake offices or you can contact us.
What to expect
From here depending on the tide your activities will be arranged.
Snorkeling - This is done in the magical "Kosi aquarium". Calm sheltered water with over 200 recorded species of fish.
Kayaking tour - Your guide will take you on an exploration to see the 5 species of mangrove trees and birdlife found at the Kosi estuary.
Fish kraal tour - Your guide will give you a detailed tour on how the traditional Thonga fish traps are build, function and maintained.
Your day will be rounded off with a tasty tradition fish braai! This will be a spread of fresh fish, mealie bread and peanut sauce! Your guide will also show you how tradition palm wine is made with a taster.
