Bravura Lake, located below the Monchique hills near Aljezur, is one of the region’s most peaceful and scenic paddling locations. After several dry years, the lake has returned to full capacity, offering exceptional water levels and outstanding conditions for the upcoming season — a rare opportunity to experience this landscape at its very best.
Surrounded by green eucalyptus and pine forests, the lake stretches through winding valleys forming multiple arms and quiet inlets, creating a stunning emerald-colored scenery.
Our excursion begins in a sheltered inlet before gliding onto the open lake towards the Barragem wall. Along the way, you will enjoy calm, warm waters perfect for swimming, relaxing breaks and learning fun paddle skills such as pivot turns, balance exercises or headstands.
