Kayak in Table Bay

This is Cape Town's iconic paddle route, for locals and visitors alike. Although it can get a little busy sometimes, those incredible views of Table Mountain from the water are impossible to beat. Early morning trips often encounter dolphins, whales are fairly common in season (June to November) and sunset trips on calm evenings are incredible.

We'll meet you in the parking area next to Three Anchor Bay beach - look out for our bright yellow kayaks on their trailer or down at the water.

What to expect

The guide will meet you get you kitted out with well fitting PFDs (life vests). They'll explain how the kayaks work and help you adjust the foot pegs so that you are comfortable. After a safety briefing and some paddling instruction, you'll head out on to the water for around 2 hours, following a more or less circular route along the coast to Table Bay. After that, it's back to the beach where the trip ends.
