    Twin Baths (Kuttam Pokuna)

Part of the Kuttam Pokuna was repaired by Robert Wilson Levers (Government Agent of the North Central Province) between 1885 and 1892 after being abandoned for decades. Unfortunately, some of the massive parapet stones from the northern pond were used to rebuild the southern pond's lower eastern edge. As a result, not all stones could be returned to their former locations during the subsequent comprehensive restoration. The ponds were completely restored between 1950 and 1955, including the surrounding compound wall. The majority of the original punkalas were discovered to be gone. They had been either stolen or destroyed. These punkalas were replaced with authentic, concrete replicas of the ones discovered on the site. The subsurface drain was never repaired. During the repair process, a metal pot was discovered at the bottom of one of the ponds. It had little figurines of a frog, a tortoise, a crab, many fish, a metal conch, and a dancing woman, now found in the Museum.

    Lankarama Sthupa

Giant Eth pond (6 times bigger than the Olympic pool) Eth Pokuna, often known as the "Elephant Pond," is a huge pond in Anuradhapura. It is located off Lankaramaya and is linked to the massive Abhayagiri Monastic Complex. Because of the remarkable level of hydraulic engineering involved in its construction, Eth Pokuna remains one of the most interesting historical locations in Sri Lanka. Water was pumped in from the neighboring Periyakulam Tank, and remnants of the plumbing may still be seen today. Water was preserved and handled with greater efficiency than was typical for a civilization of that era during the first half of Sri Lanka's history, right up to the medieval era. The pipes and subterranean canals that carried water from the reservoir to the pond are still operational.

    Abayagiriya Stupa

The structure is significant in the history of the island because it represents tensions between the Theravada and Mahayana sects of Buddhism; it is also significant in recorded history as one of the tallest structures in the ancient world; and the tallest non-pyramidal building; the stupa's height was 122 metres (400 ft), making it the tallest stupa in the ancient world. When the Anuradhapura monarchy was destroyed and abandoned in the 11th century, the stupa and others were covered by jungle. In the 12th century, King Parakramabahu attempted to restore this stupa, and it was reconstructed to the current height, a decrease from the original height. It is now 71 meters tall (233 ft).

The old Meghagiri Vihara, also known as Meygiri Vihara, is now known as the Isurumuniya Vihara. It was constructed by King Devanampiya Tissa, who ruled in the ancient Sri Lankan capital of Anuradhapura from 307 BC to 267 BC. Isurumuniya was intended to house 500 high-caste youngsters once they were ordained. A viharaya is connected to a cave, and there is a cliff above. On top of it lies a tiny stupa. As can be noticed, the stupa's building work dates from the present day. Elephants have been carved further down on both sides of a gap in a rock that appears to emerge out of a pool. The image of a horse is etched into the rock. The sculpture of Isurumuniya lovers on the stone was moved from another location and set there. The Ranmasu Uyana is just a few yards away from this vihara.
