Pick up from Moshi or Arusha and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos as well as prides of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colourful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see include leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. Head out after breakfast for a drive to Serengeti National park. The word “Serengeti” is derived from the Maasai language meaning “endless plain” en-route to Serengeti, you can choose to visit a Maasai village, a perfect place to explore the Maasai culture and to even participate in some cultural activities.
