Combine a beach break and a trekking holiday, plus multiple memorable safari experiences, into one amazing Tanzania tour.
This trip starts by giving you a taste of hiking on Kilimanjaro on a day trek. The Marangu Route of Kilimanjaro is the most popular route up the mountain. Whilst the full ascent of Kilimanjaro takes at least five days, in one day you can have a taster of the trail, trekking from Marangu village on the southeastern side of the mountain to the Mandara Huts – huts where trekkers going all the way up would sleep for the night. Your day trek is a steady and gentle climb up through rainforest, climbing from 1,970m to an altitude of 2,700m. The full trek takes around six or seven hours, there and back.
Once you’ve completed your hike, you’re going on safari. Your local drive and guide are wildlife-spotting experts and know exactly where to go to give you the best experiences. You’ll explore no fewer than five national parks:

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival in Tanzania you will meet your guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport who will escort you to your lodge in Arusha town for some much needed relaxation. Arusha is Tanzania Northern circuit's tourist harbour. As locals Tanzanians, our guides know the country like the back of their hands so you’ll be in good hands from the moment you land to the moment you leave. Overnight in bed and breakfast.

Today after breakfast we'll drive to Marangu gate. Marangu Route is the coolest route on Mount Kilimanjaro. The ascension is very slow and steady, allowing easy hiking for most of the way. The hiking will take you from Marangu gate to Mandara Hut,1970m-2770m which will take you 6 to 7 hours, returning to the lodge in the evening on full board basis. Transit time from Arusha to Marangu is 3hrs.

Today after breakfast we'll drive to Arusha National park. Arusha National Park is known for its' outstanding natural beautiful. The park has a wide range of habitats, from the string of crater lakes where many water birds can be observed, through the highland mountain forest and on up to the imposing summit of Mount Meru. The forest contain a wealth of bird life and other animals, like the beautiful bushbuck, easily glimpsed in the shade between the ancient cedar trees, or the black and white Colobus monkeys climbing along branches. The interesting geology of the area is reflected in the impressive view of the ash, cone and cliff face leading to the summit of Mt. Meru.

Today after breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for the game drive. With over 2000 elephant population Tarangire is the true African savannah. Enjoy the landscape and vegetation diversity of Tarangire national park and late in the evening drive to your lodge. Transit time 3 hrs .

5Lake Manyara National Park
Today after breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Named as Hemingway's favourite park in Africa, lake Manyara National Park is a classic Tanzanian destination, from it’s groundwater forest and elusive-tree climbing lions, to hippos cooling off in the water. Late afternoon we'll drive to Karatu for our overnight stay

Today after breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park where you'll stay for two nights. . From the sea of the waving grass dotted with flat top umbrellas and ants hills to the rocks outcrops Serengeti is the home of the great migration.

8Ngorongoro Crater
Today after an early breakfast drive to Ngorongoro highlands for the crater tour. Just 10 miles wide, Ngorongoro crater was formed out of a collapsed volcano. It’s now a self-sustaining ecosystem with the densest predator populations in all of Africa. Overnight at the lodge located at the rim of the crater. Transit time from Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater is 3hrs.
