This tour combines a visit to historical places of Armenia and a 15 km off road experience to a hardly reachable lake Hors. On the way we will also see Vishap stones. 5000-6000 years ago they served as protectors of water in pagan Armenia. From here we will take a road up the hill and then down to reach the lake.

Khor Virap is an actively working monastery nowadays, but it used to be a place of tortures, a prison from where people never return. Here Grigor Lusavorich was kept for spreading Christianity in Armenia. The monastery is very close to the border and a 10 minute walk up the hill will open an amazing view to mount Ararat and Araxes.
We have a stop at Areni wine factory, which was opened in 1994. Here the travelers has an opportunity to try wines.
Noravank is a 13th-century monastery. It is located in a gorge, which has impressive rocks and cliffs.
