Meet your guide outside the Puerto Limón Cruise Port and travel through Costa Rica’s Caribbean countryside to Veragua Rainforest. After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, take on the award-winning Original Canopy Tour, featuring 11 platforms and 11 zipline traverses high above the rainforest floor. Glide between the treetops, pause at observation platforms, and take in sweeping rainforest views while watching for monkeys, sloths, and tropical birds. The experience begins and ends near Veragua’s visitor facilities, where restrooms, refreshments, and a souvenir shop are available.

2Tortuguero Canal
Continue to the Tortuguero Canals for a boat tour through the waterways often called Costa Rica’s Amazon. Look for howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, crocodiles, iguanas, aquatic birds, and other wildlife as your guide shares insight into this remarkable rainforest ecosystem. After the cruise, enjoy a fresh tropical fruit snack and a brief sightseeing drive through Puerto Limón. Learn about the city’s Caribbean culture, browse for local souvenirs, and return to the cruise port approximately six hours after departure.
