Meeting and pickup
Start at FGC Plaça Espanya Station. Validate your ticket at the FGC ticket office before boarding. Then take the train to Monistrol de Montserrat and the rack railway to the monastery. Follow the signs to the Information Office upon arrival.

Once you arrive at Montserrat, you'll collect your audio guide and begin exploring one of Spain's most iconic religious and cultural landmarks. Visit the Basilica, admire the impressive art collection at the Museum of Montserrat, experience the Audiovisual Space and discover the unique atmosphere that has attracted pilgrims and visitors for centuries.
At your reserved time, you'll enter the Basilica to visit the Black Madonna, the spiritual heart of Montserrat. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you wish, whether that's discovering hidden corners of the monastery, taking in the mountain scenery or simply relaxing before returning to Barcelona. Complete your visit with a tasting of the traditional Montserrat liqueurs at La Botiga.

- When choosing a time to visit La Moreneta, keep in mind how long it takes to get to Barcelona and the climb up to the monastery. Plan ahead and take the train at least 1.5 hours before your reserved time to ensure a smooth visit.
- Not permitted Both men and women must wear modest clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. It is prohibited to enter the monastery wearing flip-flops. It is prohibited to take photographs with a flash, tripods, or selfie sticks inside the basilica. It is also prohibited to take photographs during services at the monastery. It is prohibited to enter the basilica during worship services unless you are participating in them.
