What to expect
Immerse yourself in an authentic culinary experience in Lecce, the baroque capital of Apulia. Your host will greet you with a welcome aperitif featuring typical Salento products, followed by a refreshing Leccese Coffee, a traditional Salento drink made with almond milk and ice. As you sip, enjoy a hands-on cooking session where you’ll learn to make fresh pasta. Combine simple ingredients with passion to create Orecchiette and Maccheroni al Ferretto (using the traditional pasta tool). Under the guidance of a local chef, you'll also prepare two delicious sauces: a classic fresh tomato sauce and a chickpea and vegetable topping. Afterward, enjoy the fruits of your labor during a convivial dinner, complete with homemade bread, a traditional dessert, and homemade limoncello. Toast with local red, rosé, and white wines to celebrate this unforgettable experience.
