Located at the foot of the San Cristoforo hill, right under the Capuchins, the Aurora tower ideally divides the new part of Monterosso with the old village.
Because its position, towering over San Cristoforo Hill, where the ancient castle originated the hamlet, it is visible from all Cinque Terre. It is a strong touristic attraction also due to the high artistic and historical value
Also known as the oratory of Santa Maria di Porto Salvo, the building was built in the 17th century in Baroque style. Characterized by the two-tone façade plastered with black and white stripes
The church of San Giovanni Battista was built between the mid-13th century and the beginning of the 14th. It is a splendid example of Ligurian Gothic.
