    Day 01: begins with a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar. Upon arrival, meet with the driver and transfer you to your hotel for a smooth check-in. Before we set off, take a moment to relax and savor a traditional cup of world-renowned Ethiopian coffee.

    By mid-morning, we drive to the breathtaking Blue Nile Falls, known locally as Tis Abay. After a short scenic walk across the historic Fasileds bridge a Portuguese-style architecture Bridge, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the falls and the lush, vibrant landscape. After a thorough exploration of the area, we return to Bahir Dar for lunch.

    In the afternoon, we take a boat trip on Lake Tana, Ethiopia’s largest lake. We will navigate the blue waters to explore the ancient, hidden monasteries of the Zegi Peninsula. You’ll have the opportunity to step inside the beautifully painted walls of Ura Kidane Mihret and Azwa Maryam, where centuries of history and art are preserved. As the sun begins to lower, we continue our boat trip to spot hippopotamuses and a variety of exotic aquatic birds. Market Vibes Back to city, we’ll dive into the culture of the city with a visit to the vibrant local market—a perfect place to witness the daily rhythm of Bahir Dar. To conclude this unforgettable day, we’ll take a peaceful stroll along the lakeside to watch the sunset cast its golden reflections across the water. Dinner: Enjoy a relaxing meal at your hotel or a hand-picked local restaurant.

    Gondar – The Camelot of Africa

    After breakfast, we depart from Bahir Dar for a scenic drive to Gondar. Along the way, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Ethiopian countryside. You’ll pass through rolling hills and traditional villages, where you can observe age-old agricultural practices and iconic thatched-roof houses crafted in the classic rural style. Upon arrival in Gondar, we will check into your hotel before heading out to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. Often referred to as the "Camelot of Africa," Gondar was the 17th-century capital of the Ethiopian Empire.

    After breakfast, begin your adventure with a scenic drive to Debark, including a brief stop at Simien Mountains National Park headquarters to arrange trekking permits. Enjoy an easy 2–3 hour trek. Enjoy a picnic lunch with the stunning escarpment views and encounter playful Gelada baboons along the way. Reach the spectacular Jinbar Falls, where the waterfall plunges into a deep valley. surrounded by dramatic highland landscapes. Later in the afternoon drive back to Gondar.     After breakfast, fly to Lalibela. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy a refreshing Ethiopian coffee before beginning your exploration of the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, famously known as the “Jerusalem of Africa.” These remarkable churches were carved entirely from a single solid volcanic rock in the early 12th century. Today, you will visit the Northwestern Cluster, which includes Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bet Mikael, and Bet Golgotha.

    After lunch, continue with the Southeastern Cluster, including Bete Gabriel-Rufael, Bete Merkorios, Bete Emanuel, and Bete Libanos.     Fly from Lalibela to Addis Ababa Take the morning flight and arrive in Addis Ababa midday and you will have free time to do some shopping or sightseeing including the Merkato, said to be Africa’s largest market of its kind, and do shopping. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner at one of the famous cultural restaurants.

    Axum – Addis Ababa – Departure

    Take a morning flight from Axum, arriving in Addis Ababa by midday. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You may choose to explore Merkato, the largest open-air market in Africa, for some unique souvenir shopping. Alternatively, you can visit the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the world-famous hominid fossil, "Lucy." In the evening, enjoy a traditional farewell dinner at one of the city's renowned cultural restaurants, featuring local music and dance. Following dinner, you will be transferred to the airport for your international departure. Note: If you wish to stay longer, we can organize extension tours to other regions of Ethiopia upon request.
