The original Paragliding experience over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Operated by a WXC World Champion, National Champion, National team member and multi Record holder and his team of friendly, safe and fully certified instructors.
The unique experience of flying a Paraglider, launching of the Tijuca Forest National Park, surrounded by tropical Atlantic Forest, unique views of the Atlantic ocean and many landmarks of Rio such as Rocinha, Vidigal, Pedra da Gavea, Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer and more, finishing with a smooth landing on the white sands of beautiful São Conrado beach.
What's Included
Paragliding Equipment use of, paraglider, harness, helmets and other safety equipment
Spanish, English, Portuguese and German Guide
Hang Gliding Club fee/insurance 110 Brazilian Reais (+10% for card payments)
Hotel pickup and drop-off, transfer service can be requested, cost varies according to location.

Meeting point
We pick up for free in the São Conrado neighbohood in front of the Hortifrutti Grocery store, please contact us before heading over to confirm wind conditions.

What to expect
Experience flying a Paraglider, tandem with a official and certified team leaded by an international Hang Gliding champion, national team member & Record Holder and national team member. Launching of the Tijuca Forest National Park, surrounded by tropical Atlantic Forest, unique views of the Atlantic ocean and many landmarks of Rio such as Rocinha, Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer and more, finishing with a smooth landing on the white sands of beautiful São Conrado beach.

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- For safety reasons and aircraft capacity persons of or above 120kg/260lb can't be accepted for Hang Gliding, but paragliding might still be an alternative. On certain days, depending on wind and weather or mobility restrictions, even persons slightly below mentioned weight might be redirected to Paragliding for their own safety.
- Pictures and videos are usually downloaded to your phone so please make sure to have at least 3GB available for the standard imagery and another 7GB if you're planning on taking the 360° camera option.
