After pickup from your hotel, you'll head to Luxor to begin your journey through one of Egypt’s most iconic archaeological sites: the Valley of the Kings. Temple of Karnak

Colossi of Memnon
Little remains of the once-grand mortuary temple of Amenhotep III, but the two towering statues known as the Colossi of Memnon still stand proudly after more than 3,400 years. These massive stone figures once guarded the entrance to the temple and continue to watch over the west bank of the Nile, just across from Luxor. In addition to the majestic twin statues, visitors can admire smaller carvings of the Pharaoh’s wife, Queen Tiy, and his mother, Mutemwia. Look closely to spot the detailed sandstone reliefs, including depictions of the Nile god Hapy, symbolizing fertility and abundance. Though time and weather have taken their toll, the Colossi still inspire awe and offer a glimpse into the ancient grandeur that once defined this sacred site.

Temple of Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari is one of ancient Egypt’s most impressive funerary monuments.
