When it comes to practicing street photography, Hanoi is one of the best cities in the world because of its vibrancy, full of life, full of character, conflicts but also harmony between the tradition and the modern. After years of researching its culture and capturing its daily life, Hanoi's streets and markets still amaze and inspire me everyday.
Street Photography is not only my passion but also for training my visual, creative thinking, discovering my city's culture and my way of meditation.

We'll meet at Hao Cafe, 47 Ly Quoc Su St. Please let me know if you have any problem getting there
What to expect
We will warm up by capturing a small, hidden but full of life local market. I will help you to simplify your camera (or your phone) setting and method of shooting, relax your body, overcoming your fear of taking photo of stranger, find the beauty in chaos of Hanoi streets. After that our eyes will be thirsty for more of Hanoi's character, culture and stories. Then it will be the perfect time for us to hit the Heaven of Street Photography in Hanoi - Dong Xuan market and surrounding area. After you feel the older Vietnamese market atmosphere, there will be a lot of colours, shadows, backgrounds, foregrounds, characters to practice our techniques with.
Lastly, we will find a nice place to have some juice (or bia hơi maybe) and do a photo review session and some tips on photo editing.
