Go to the tram stop 'Mosson', not 'stadium de la Mosson'. Then wait for the guide to pick you up at this stop. The tram stop is accessible from the city centre of Montpellier by tram line 1 or line 3. Line 3 is faster than line 1.
Mont Saint Baudille is a natural boundary between the Hérault valley and the Larzac causses. At the top, you can enjoy an extraordinary panorama with a view of the most emblematic mountains of the region, including Hortus and Pic Saint Loup. You will also be able to see Mont Ventoux and Canigou in good weather.
The Navacelles cirque, considered the geological jewel of the region, offers an exceptional spectacle from the Baume Auriol belvedere. Come and admire the green nature that makes it up, contrasting with the gray walls of the cirque.
Come have a picnic in the middle of the Causses and the Cévennes (packed lunch not included) and discover another point of view over the canyon of the Navacelles cirque. You will be able to witness a magnificent spectacle offered by nature but also see a small village and waterfalls formed by the Vis.
The Moulin de la Foux is spanned by the Vis river with its translucent waters. The mills on this site date from the 17th century and shelter the resurgence of the Foux. A very pleasant walk of 30 minutes there and 30 minutes return will be necessary to get to this place imbued with natural beauty.
At the end of the day, enjoy the magnificent view of the Navacelles cirque on the Gardois side this time to leave you with memories from all angles of this memorable day.
