After meeting your tour conductor, you will walk to the pier and board a traditional yakatabune, a classic Japanese river boat designed for dining and sightseeing. Due to official river traffic regulations on the Sumida River, the vessel departs earlier than the fireworks start time. During this waiting period, you can relax on board and enjoy your dinner while drifting gently on the river. Inside the boat, seating is arranged on the 1st floor with tables and chairs. Dinner features a generous selection of seasonal Japanese dishes, including freshly fried tempura, sashimi arranged on a shared platter, side dishes, rice items, and fruit, all prepared to complement the occasion. This cruise views the display near the Second Launch Site starting at 7:30 PM, where powerful bursts and artistic fireworks light up the Tokyo skyline. Watching from the river offers a special perspective unavailable from land, with reflections shimmering on the water and a sense of calm despite the scale of the celebration. Please note that buildings along the river may partially block some views, which is characteristic of urban fireworks festivals. After the fireworks conclude, river traffic becomes congested as boats return one by one, and disembarkation timing may vary. The tour concludes at Hinode pier later in the evening once the boat returns safely. The fireworks festival proceeds in light rain, but may be canceled or altered due to severe weather or official decisions. In such cases, alternative cruising arrangements or refunds will follow festival regulations.
