After meeting your tour conductor, hop on a comfortable sightseeing bus and travel approximately 110 minutes to the designated parking area. To avoid heavy traffic and road closures associated with the event, arrival is scheduled well before the fireworks begin. Depending on traffic conditions, the tour may make time-adjustment stops at service areas or roadside stations along the way. After approximately 30 minutes on foot, arrive at the viewing venue along the Arakawa River.
You will enjoy the Konosu Fireworks Festival from a dedicated chair seating area. One of the event's most famous highlights is Phoenix Dance, a dynamic sequence of large fireworks launched in rapid succession across the night sky. The festival is also renowned for its spectacular 4-foot firework shell, one of the largest fireworks shells launched in Japan, creating a massive burst high above the venue. A special Blue Impulse exhibition flight is also scheduled as part of the day's festivities, providing another exciting highlight before the fireworks begin. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 6:15 PM and conclude around 8:00 PM. As dinner is not included, you may wish to enjoy the local food stalls or bring your own meal.
After the fireworks display, walk 30 minutes back to the designated parking area and board the coach for the return journey to Tokyo. The tour concludes with arrival at approximately 11:30 PM. Due to heavy traffic and road restrictions following the event, significant delays may occur and the return journey may take longer than scheduled.
