Meeting and pickup
Meet at the JR Shinjuku Station South Exit ticket gate, on the Koshu-kaido side. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. The tour conductor will be holding a flag and a placard with the local tour operator's logo.

After meeting your tour conductor, depart from Shinjuku between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM aboard the Limited Express Azusa in reserved standard-class seating. Arrive at Matsumoto Station and continue by coach toward Hakuba. Continue 15 minutes to Hakuba Mountain Harbor, one of the region's premier scenic viewpoints. A gondola ride carries you to an elevation of approximately 1,289 meters (4,229 feet), where sweeping views of the Hakuba Three Peaks and the Northern Alps await. The observation area provides a spectacular vantage point from which to admire the surrounding mountain scenery. During autumn, visitors may witness Hakuba's famous three-layer autumn colors, created by the combination of snow-dusted mountain peaks, vibrant autumn foliage, and dark green evergreen forests. This seasonal contrast produces one of the most memorable landscapes in the Japanese Alps. Autumn foliage is typically at its best from late October through early November.

After approximately 100 minutes of travel, return to Matsumoto Station. Board the Limited Express Azusa in reserved standard-class seating for the journey back to Tokyo. The tour concludes with arrival at Hachioji Station and Tachikawa Station (optional drop-off stops) before continuing to Shinjuku between 9:00 PM and 10:50 PM. - All train seats are reserved. Even members of the same group may not be seated together or in nearby seats. Seat requests cannot be accommodated.
- On the return journey, you may leave the tour at JR Hachioji Station or JR Tachikawa Station. No refunds will be provided for partial disembarkation.
- The best time to view autumn leaves varies depending on the weather and temperature of the season. The tour schedule is based on the condition of the autumn leaves in the past years. However, there are some cases where you are not able to enjoy the scenery as in the photo. Please note there will be no refund regardless of the conditions of the autumn leaves. If the conditions of the autumn leaves are poor, visiting times may be shortened. Typical Peak Season: late October to early November.
- Once a tour departure has been confirmed, the tour will operate regardless of autumn foliage conditions.
- The gondola may be suspended due to weather conditions or other operational circumstances. In such cases, an alternative sightseeing destination will be provided or a refund equivalent to the affected service will be issued. Should the gondola service be suspended after the tour has already departed, the above measures will still apply.
