On a day trip to Slovenia you will visit Lake Bled situated in the foothills of Julien Alps and explore Ljubljana, capital and largest city of Slovenia.

This 3 day adventure will start with pick up at the airport/main bus station/main train station where your private give will wait for you holding a sign Mapping Croatia. After you check into your accommodation in Zagreb we will pick you up for a panoramic tour of Zagreb during which you will have the opportunity to see the Austro-Hungarian architecture of Zagreb Green Horseshoe, masterpieces of communism architecture and urbanism in New Zagreb area, magical Mirogoj Cemetery designed by famous architect Herman Bollé and many more. For art lovers it is possible to arrange a visit to Museum of Contemporary Art which is the biggest museum in Croatia while those more keen on outdoors will enjoy a stroll around Jarun lake also called "Zagreb Sea". After a panoramic tour you will meet a licensed Zagreb city centre guide for a sightseeing walk through the historical centre of the city during which you will see all the most famous Zagreb landmarks, learn a thousand year old history, see where local buy their food and where decision making process of Croatian Parlament takes place.
Second day will start with pick up at your accommodation in the morning hours and drive south towards Plitvice Lakes National Park. After 1,5 h drive we will make a short break in the historical village of Rastoke. This watermill village of extraordinary natural beauty and tradition is built where river Slunjčica flows into Korana river forming several waterfalls and lakes.
Half an hour drive from Slunj lies oldest and most visited Croatian National Park stretching over 300 square kilometers. Plitvice Lakes National Park with its outstanding beauty was in 1979 inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Site for geological and ecological values. Complex of 16 terraced lakes joined by waterfalls offers visitors walkways, hiking trails, electric boats and trains. You will have a 3-4 hour walk to witness the magical lakes and waterfalls complemented with a panoramic boat ride across the lake and an electric train.
After your the tour of Plitvice Lakes your guide can recommend you one of the restaurants serving local food for lunch before you head to Smiljan, a birthplace of one of the greatest minds that ever lived – Nikola Tesla. Memorial Center commemorates his origins and tells a story of inventors life, from his childhood in Croatia to last years in United States and displays replicas of some of his most famous invention. We will finish the day in the late afternoon with drop off at your accommodation.
On the third day we will visit charming central-European country of Slovenia. After pick up at your accommodation and just half an hour drive we will reach Slovenian boarder (don't forget your passports!). First stop will be beautiful Lake Bled situated in the foothills of Julien Alps. Here you will get a postcard views complemented with some interesting legends. Bled is famous for the magical island in the middle of the lake with the Church of the Assumption and Bled Castle, the oldest castle in Slovenia, with some parts dating back to 11th century, offering a breathtaking view over the lake and Alps in the background.
Leaving Lake Bled behind we will visit Ljubljana, the charming capital of Slovenia. In Ljubljana we will meet a licensed local guide for a city tour to explore its medieval old town and the old Roman ruins, admire the river banks and medieval Ljubljana Castle and witness the unique example of Joze Plecnik’s urban planning based on inovativne modern approaches and respect of the history. Our 3 day private tour will end with drop off at your accommodation and hopefully a lifetime memories of your visit to Croatia!
