Crystal clear water, comfortable environment condition to try diving for the first time.
The experience is diving in 3 parts:
- Introduction & basic notions of scuba diving
- Confined Water session at sea in shallow water
- Open Water dive at max depth of -12mt
No previous diving experience is needed.
REQUIREMENT:
- Min 10 years of age
- Sufficient swimming skills are required.
- Participants should be in good health.
- After the dive participants should wait at least 12 hours before taking a flight.
- Sufficient English proficiency: activity will be held in English
In presence of breathing/respiratory problems, blood and heart related problems, surgery in the past year or contraction of Covid-19 is highly suggested to get in touch with own Physician and ask if participant is "Fit to Dive"; in such case a Doctor's statement is highly recommended.

Meeting and pickup
DIVEBASE dive center is located on 25,Islet promenade, Bugibba, next to Seaview Hotel overlooking the sea on the main road. Closest Bus Stops: Saif, Gzejjer, Halel, reference Bus Station Bugibba Bay Free parking available along the promenade. Car Parking also available at Dolmen resort.
What to expect
You will be introduced to new and funny dimension, THE UNDERWATER WORLD.
To take part in PADI Discover Scuba® Diving with DiveBase, all you need is to have sufficient swimming skills and to be in good health (previous diving experience is not required).
DiveBase Malta instructors are going to organize a 3 hour-long experience in a pleasant and calm environment.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
to correctly use the diving equipment
to equalise the water’s pressure on your ears
to feel at ease underwater
to swim with fins without efforts
to hand signal to communicate underwater
Once achieved all the requirements of this experience, you are going to receive a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Certificate of Achievement. With this certificate you may continue your diving education and become a certified scuba diver. The certificate is valid and recognize worldwide.
Important to be in good health and after the dive is concluded is important to wait at least 12 hours before taking a flight.
