Our certified Tour Guides are locals who've lived in Monteverde all their life.
They've visited the Monteverde Night Tour trail system thousands of times, and they know the place like the palm of their hand. You will be in the hands of a true local expert who will take your Monteverde experience to the next level.
Additionally, our groups are small (10 People Max, but usually 8 or smaller), so you will see more and learn more, and with our local expert and his HD Spotting Scope, you will be able to take many amazing pictures.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please meet us at the Monteverde Finca Lantana (find it on Google as Finca Lantana). Once you get there, please provide the name and last name you used in your reservation to our receptionist.
What to expect
First, we will start with a small introduction where you will be assigned a local tour guide.
Next, you will walk around the grounds of El Refugio where many animals find shelter to sleep.
Here is where you will find a few more birds as well as some of the most incredible insects (like walking sticks, tarantulas, and leafcutter ants), rare mammals (like porcupines, opossums, and olingos), and depending on the weather condition snakes and frogs.
Finally, you will head back to reception to wrap things up.
