Established in the late 19th century it gained new prominence as the second capital of the newly-created Austro-Hungarian Empire. Signs of that momentous 19th-century rise are everywhere to be found on this Budapest walking tour.

Get introduced to a wide range of local grape varieties, such as Bikavér, Kadarka , Olaszrizling and Furmint which are major players in Hungarian wine.
