What to expect

Set out for a full day trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains and Desert Agafay . We'll start from Marrakech Cafe Agrana at 9 am. Along the morning route, head off the drive path to stop for a camel ride and enjoy the scenery along the way. Following, you will enjoy stopping by a local argan oil collective for a tour and a snack as well as to experience the bottling process first hand by the local Berber women. Next you will travel to Imlil, a village in the High Atlas Mountains to experience the mountains as you trek between some of Morocco's remote villages. You will also enjoy learning about traditional Berber culture from your guide who is local to the area.Discover the mountain community of Imi n’Tala, while you walk to a nearby village for lunch in a local Berber home, and wind along isolated tracks towards the rocky expanse of the Agafay Desert. Beyond the breathtaking views, take in the verdant arc of Takerkouste Lake and explore the market town of Amizmiz; pause for a glass of mint tea then head to back country into narrow valleys that shelter traditional Berber villages,
