What to expect
One of the most important religious pilgrimages in Europe, Fátima is the site where, in 1917, three small children named Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco claimed they saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary. Visit the home where the three children lived, the Chapel of Apparitions where the sighting occurred, and the now-famous Our Lady of Fátima Sanctuary (Nossa Senhora de Fátima Santuario).
