What to expect
The hammam ritual at Heybe Hotel can be summarized as follows:
Upon entering, guests change in the dressing area and wear a peshtemal (those who prefer may use their own bikini or swimsuit). Then, they move to the Temperature Room, where the navel stone and basins are located. Guests relax and sweat on the navel stone before washing themselves with warm or cold water and special soaps.
If desired, the bath staff can perform a 30-minute scrub and foam massage, which removes dead skin and provides a refreshing feeling. The session ends with the staff rinsing you off.
There are also other massage options available, which guests can learn more about from the staff.
Finally, after showering, guests move to the Cold Room, where clean towels are provided and they can relax as long as they wish.
