Please meet your guide in front of FamilyMart Shiojiri Soga Store. Your guide will be holding a yellow sign near the store entrance. Please arrive a few minutes before the tour start time.
Izutsu Wine is one of the well-known wineries in Shiojiri’s Kikyogahara area, a historic wine-producing region in Nagano. The winery produces wines using grapes closely associated with the region, including Concord, Niagara, and Merlot. During the visit, guests will enjoy wine tasting and learn how Shiojiri’s cool, dry climate and grape-growing history have shaped the character of Kikyogahara wine.
Goichi Wine, operated by Hayashi Farm, is a long-established winery in Shiojiri’s Kikyogahara area, founded in 1911. Guided by the idea that good wine begins with good grapes, the winery is known for its vineyard-focused approach and for producing a wide range of Japanese wines, especially Merlot. During the visit, guests will walk through the vineyard area, learn about the Hayashi-Smart training system, and enjoy wine tasting while discovering the winery’s long commitment to grape cultivation and wine production.
Shinano Wine is a family-run winery in Shiojiri’s Kikyogahara area, producing wine, grape juice, and brandy from grapes grown in its own and contracted vineyards. The winery is known for its careful, hands-on approach and for making wines that reflect the character of the local grape-growing region. During the visit, guests will see the cellar area and enjoy wine tasting, experiencing another side of Kikyogahara’s wine culture.
