Agra (Pass by)
Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Jaipur is the first planned city of India. Maharaj Jai singh took counsel from several books on architecture and a brahmin scholar Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. It took four years to construct the city. The king sent scholars across the world to collect the information. The set of features and attributes of its palaces, roads, and squares were headway for its time. The jaipur guided tours will take you through Amer fort, City Palace and Hawa Mahal.

1Amber Palace
You will be picked up from your hotel in Agra and we'll drive you to Jaipur. Enroute one day jaipur city tour, your time will be filled with vistas of changing pictures. You will get a grip on things beforehand from your english speaking guide. Upon arrival in Jaipur we will first visit Amer fort Amer fort is a establishment standing amidst wooded hills. It is confined by walls and has bastions. It was former residence for the royal families, specially built by three different Rajputana Kings. The fort witnessed the rule of Maharaja Man Singh, Mirja Raja Jai Singh and Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh who ruled 130 years on Fort. This fort was a bulwark against foreign invasion. The fort has a temple of victory and a sparkling hall of fame. Further on, we will visit city palace.

2City Palace of Jaipur
The city palace is an union of Mughal, Rajputanas, and European architecture. The palace has a patterns of lines that cross each other to form square. The palace has Govind temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, Sabha Niwas, Sarvato bhadra, Chandra Mahal and Mubark Mahal. The royal family still resides here. Later, we will visit Hawa Mahal.

3Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind
Hawa Mahal is made up of red and pink sandstone in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. It has 953 windows, known as jharokhas. The jharokhas are latticed windows so that ladies could watch the royal proceedings. It was constructed to let cool air pass through the Mahal in the summers.
