Short on time but curious about Ancient Rome? This 1.5-hour express walking tour is the perfect way to experience the Eternal City’s most legendary landmarks without long queues or heavy crowds.
Starting outside the Colosseum, your expert guide will bring gladiator battles, executions, and Roman engineering feats to life. Stroll along Via dei Fori Imperiali past the Forum of Augustus and Forum of Julius Caesar, where ambition and propaganda once shaped an empire. Admire Trajan’s Column and the Arch of Septimius Severus before climbing Capitoline Hill for a sweeping view of the Roman Forum.
With small groups (max 15), cooler evening air, and immersive storytelling, this tour is designed for travelers who want maximum insight in minimal time.
Important to note: We do not enter the Colosseum or Roman Forum. All sites are viewed from the exterior only.

Meeting and pickup
Meet your guide at Largo Gaetana Agnesi. Look for the yellow Carpe Diem Tours flag or sign. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for check-in, as the tour leaves on time. Late arrivals cannot be refunded.
End your tour at Capitoline Hill, one of Rome’s most historic squares, where you’ll enjoy a sweeping panorama over the Roman Forum and ancient ruins.
