This offers an opportunity to learn about the people and events that shaped Ghana’s independence and influenced the wider struggle for African liberation.
Visit Osu Castle, one of Ghana’s historic coastal castles connected to the transatlantic slave trade. For visitors who may not have the opportunity to visit Cape Coast, this experience provides part of the history in Accra, walk through the historic spaces and dungeons and learn about the experiences of Africans who were held there before being taken across the Atlantic. Visit the memorial park of Dr Kwame Nkrumah who was a great Pan Africanist and a freedom fighter. He lead Ghana to gain in dependence in1957 (the first sub Saharan country to gain independence)

The Osu Castle also known as the Christiansburg Castle is yet one of the three Enslaved Castle built by the Danish and is located right here in Accra the capital city whilst, the rest of the two are located, Cape Coast and Elmina towns. For those who are not able to do the Travel to Cape Coast, this is a great opportunity to experience something similar and a whole city vibe!
