Begin your journey at Living Land Farm, a community-based organic farm where you will engage in 14 hands-on steps of the rice-growing process, from selecting seeds to harvesting and threshing.
Rice Planting Fields: Learn traditional rice planting techniques and plow the fields using a water buffalo. Experience firsthand the effort required to cultivate rice.
Traditional Rice Processing Area: Try your hand at husking, milling, and pounding rice using traditional Lao tools and methods passed down through generations.
