This walk takes you beyond history — into the gossip, traditions, and everyday life of the Pink City. You’ll listen to real tales of faith, caste, and community, discover how old beliefs shape modern Jaipur, and see the city through the eyes of its people — the priests, shopkeepers, bangle makers, and chai sellers who carry centuries of culture in their daily lives. It’s not about checking sights off a list; it’s about feeling the pulse of Jaipur — laughing, listening, and learning like a true local.

What to expect
I will personally meet you at your hotel before we begin our walk into the old city. From there, we’ll explore Jaipur on foot, wandering through colourful bazaars, narrow hidden lanes, historic havelis, old temples and lively neighbourhoods where everyday Jaipur life continues much as it has for generations.
As we walk, I’ll share stories about the people, traditions, architecture and fascinating characters that have shaped the city. We’ll see local artisans, discover unusual corners and hear stories that you are unlikely to find in a guidebook.
There will be plenty of opportunities to stop, take photographs, ask questions, meet local people and simply enjoy the atmosphere around you.
This is not a rushed sightseeing walk or a checklist of monuments. It is a chance to slow down and experience Jaipur on foot, through the eyes of someone who has known the city for decades.
Come prepared to walk, explore and be curious—and leave with a different understanding of the Pink City.
