This is not a typical sightseeing tour, and there are no forts or palaces on the itinerary. Instead, it is designed to help you experience Jaipur as a local rather than as a tourist. We begin with "Once Upon a Time in Jaipur," a storytelling walk through the hidden back lanes of the Pink City, where you'll discover the people, traditions, and stories that shaped Jaipur. Throughout the day, you'll visit artisan workshops, explore non-touristy neighborhoods, browse some of Jaipur's finest designer boutiques, and enjoy authentic local flavors. The experience ends with a breathtaking sunset at the Monkey Temple. By the end of the day, you won't just have seen Jaipur you'll understand how the city and its people truly work. This involves walking and driving around at different listed locations.

Your full-day Jaipur experience begins with a pick-up from your hotel at the scheduled time in a private vehicle. We then head to the heart of the Pink City to begin "Once Upon a Time in Jaipur," an immersive storytelling walk through its hidden lanes. As we wander through centuries-old streets, we'll explore the fascinating history that shaped Jaipur while discussing its traditions, culture, religions, colourful festivals, marriages, gods and goddesses, and everyday way of life—all tailored to your interests and curiosity. This is an interactive experience, so feel free to ask as many questions as you like. The walk concludes on a beautiful rooftop overlooking the magnificent Hawa Mahal, offering one of the most iconic views of the Pink City.
Later, we'll visit a family of traditional lac bangle makers whose craft has been passed down through generations. You can even have a pair made in the colour of your choice—and don't worry, the artisan can size your wrist with just one glance (it's their superpower, not magic!).
Royal Gaitor (Gaitore Ki Chhatriyan) is the peaceful royal cremation site of Jaipur's Kachhwaha rulers. Nestled at the foot of the Nahargarh Hills, it is renowned for its beautifully carved marble and sandstone cenotaphs (chhatris), each showcasing intricate Rajput architecture and craftsmanship. Far from the city's crowds, Gaitor offers a serene atmosphere, making it one of Jaipur's hidden gems and an ideal place to appreciate the artistry, history, and legacy of the royal family.
Enjoy free time to browse the colourful markets of the Pink City or, if you prefer, visit some of Jaipur's finest textile and jewellery boutiques. Many of these are family-run businesses that have been crafting exceptional pieces for generations, earning international recognition while playing an important role in shaping Jaipur's rich artistic heritage and reputation as one of India's design capitals.
