    After our guide and driver pick you up, the first area we are heading to see is Battambang Center market, this is an old French market where you can walk around and hear stories from our guide about the local way of life and the traditional way of people who have lived here passing by generation to generation. you will also walk along the riverside to see many old French buildings as this town also used to be part of the French protectorate from 1863 until 1953.

    after visiting Ek Phnom Temple, you can also check out quickly the location of the old tradition where our Cambodian people make The so-called ProHok (Fermented Fish) which is used a lot in our khmer (Cambodian Cooking), if we could explain and compare this Prohok to something else so you can understand how important it is to Cambodian, it is like Dutch people liking their cheese. Please note, it will be a bit fishy smell while walking around.

    Battambang Bat Caves

    This activity is only available if you book this city tour from 1PM and continue to see the bat cave in the evening for sunset, if you book in the morning you can still visit the bat cave and Phnom Sompov but as the tour is around 4 hours you likely to finish early.
