The journey of Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal starts in spectacular fashion. Trekkers will take the flight to Lukla Airport which is regarded as the most extreme and most famous airport in the world. Once the trekking crew members are introduced the journey takes place along the Dudhkoshi River. Trekkers will walk through Phakding, Benkar, Manjo, and Sagarmatha National Park Entry Gate before reaching Namche Bazaar for the second phase of trekking. Namche is the Sherpa hub. It is the marketplace of Khumbu and probably the most vibrant high altitude market in the world. Trekkers will find the various world-class eateries, bars, and shops. The sights of mountains like Thamserku, Kwangde, Kusum Kangaru, etc. are the usual scenery from Namche. Acclimatization is essential in high altitude trekking in Nepal. Therefore, trekkers will take the first acclimatization break in Namche Bazaar during Everest Base Camp Trek. Short hiking to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung Village takes place.
