This tour includes transportation in a 24 passenger minibus with guide and the entry free to the Park Saguenay (Anse-de-Tabatière, the 7th most beautiful view in Canada). Boarding for this tour is in the port area of La Baie (Saguenay) 2 minutes walk from your ship at the dock. Note that a guide will accompany you throughout the trip, to provide animation and interpretation of various themes: the history of settlement along the banks of the Saguenay, the concepts of National Park Saguenay and the Saguenay-St Lawrence, the geological history of the Saguenay Fjord.

National Park (Anse-de-Tabatière) Planned Activities :Theme: Fjord formation and geology. Visit of L'Anse-de-Tabatière (National Park the 7th most beautiful view in Canada).
Theme: La Baie (heritage sector) - Business town. Interpreted tour of *workman's road* and the high-end executive neighbourhood remaining from the defunct Consolidated Bathurst (once a paper factory). Discover different architectures and learn how Saguenay was first developed / Theme: History and Heritage. Visit Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean’s historic cradle and memorial sites: Monument des 21, Ha! Ha! Pyramid. At this point our guide will inform you about colonization and other relevant facts.
Planned Activities : While driving through two villages, “Saint-Félix-d'Otis” and “Rivière-Éternité”, learn about a tragic fire that occurred in the region, as well as Native American history and the annual exposition of nativity scenes.
Planned Activities : Walk under the famous covered bridge and witness an exposition of talented painters from the area. Stroll along a historic street (“Rue du Faubourg”), which is filled with ancestral houses that are part of the region’s heritage.
Planned Activities : Near the pier, freely roam around boutiques offering local craft and admire more ancestral houses all the while enjoying a peripheral view of the bay (“L’Anse-Saint-Jean”).
