Step into the world of tradition, undiscovered beauty and incredible tastes that is Dalmatian Hinterland. A short drive away from the coast lies one of Croatia's most intriguing and lesser-known regions.
First stop is Klis. Overlooking Split, Klis fortress gives you an incredible view of the entire area, Adriatic Sea and surrounding islands. Once the seat of medieval Croatian kings, lately it has become famous for dragons, being one of the filming locations of the Game of Thrones series.
After you are satisfied with the pictures you have taken, we will visit the nearby family estate to see how some traditional Dalmatian delicacies are made.
Next up you will visit Sinj, where you will discover Alka, an annual knightly tournament celebrating the strength and courage of brave men and women who defended their city from Ottoman onslaught in the 18th century.
