A wooden Sea Level sign mounted high on the cliff face shows just how far below sea level you’ve descended. Here, the salt flats stretch endlessly, with natural salt formations crystallizing year-round across the valley floor.

Known as Artist’s Palette, this vibrant landscape features swirling hues of pink, gold, green, and purple that look like they’ve been brushed onto the rock by hand. Under Death Valley’s dark skies, you'll witness a dazzling display of stars, planets, and constellations. - Stargazing may not be possible on nights with a full or bright moon, or on cloudy days.
Take a quick rest stop in Pahrump to stretch your legs and recharge. This small desert town offers a convenient break before continuing your journey back to Las Vegas betwen 10pm-1am.
