Have you ever wondered how to wear a kimono that is longer than you are? Putting on a kimono is difficult, and even Japanese people have a hard time putting it on by themselves, but with our professional techniques, we will dress you beautifully.
It can be difficult to move in and difficult to wear for long periods of time, but in a short amount of time you can look great in a kimono, take photos, and combine them into your favorite images.
So you can go to the beach or into space in a kimono, and the photos will look amazing!
This experience is perfect for any day, rainy or stormy, hot or cold.

The place is one-minute walk from the Shijo Horikawa bus stop. It is on the second floor of the building on the southwest corner of the big intersection of Shijo Street and Horikawa Street. The first floor is a shoe repair shop.

What to expect

Step into the world of traditional Japanese culture through an authentic kimono dressing experience in the heart of Kyoto. You will choose your favorite beautiful kimono from a curated selection, and I will dress you in the traditional way using professional techniques.
Kimonos are truly beautiful, but walking around in them for long periods of time can be tiring, so this plan involves taking photos indoors. First, you'll be photographed with a Japanese umbrella, then with a sword for men and a folding fan for women. You'll then be able to combine your photos with your favorite background. Since this experience takes place indoors, it's perfect for both cold winters and hot summers! Rainy days are no problem, either. This plan doesn't include going out, but if you'd like to go out, you can explore until 8 p.m. for an additional fee. Be sure to try on a kimono and see what it's like.
This experience is perfect for couples, friends, and solo travelers who want to discover Kyoto in a truly memorable way.
