A morning hike of an hour takes you to a scenic viewpoint at Poon Hill located above 3,210 m high offering stunning sunrise over a chain of mountains Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft), including to Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish-tail) at 6,790 m stretches up towards world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m and 08th Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m and more peaks across the horizon.

    Drive to Nayapul - 2hrs ( 1,100 m) and trek to Ulleri Village (2130 m) -05 hrs.

    Morning two-hour drive to reach the foothills past towns and villages with views of Annapurna mountain range and Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail”. As this reaches Nayapul (new bridge) where our adventure begins with a gentle walk through Bhirethati, and past farmlands as walk completes at Tirkhedhunga village in the comfort of a nice lodge after a good day walks.

    Morning walk on uphill for two hours all the way to Ulleri village with views of Annapurna South and Mt. Machhapuchare, from here on a walk gets better past Bhanthati, and then on the pleasant trail within the alpine forest of oaks-pines and rhododendron trees. Slowly walk leads with short climb gaining heights on reaching at Ghorepani village with fabulous views of Mt. Dhaulagiri range of peaks, Ghorepani village populated by Poon / Magar ethnic tribe, famous for Poon Hill viewpoint.

    Morning hike to Poon-Hill and trek to Tadapani 2,721 m – 05 hrs.

    Annapurna Mountain Range

    Early morning hike to Poon-Hill at 3,210 m offers sunrise views of mountains from Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna and as far to Ganesh Himal towards with Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail”. After superb mountain views and a sunrise walk continues from Ghorepani to Tadapani, our route leads to a climb into enchanting rhododendron forest all the way to Tadapani for overnight stops, Tadapani situated in the middle of rhododendron, magnolia and oaks forest with a fabulous view of Mt. Machhapuchare and Annapurna South peaks.

    Trek to Ghandruk 1,950 m -03 hrs and drive to Pokhara - 3 hrs

    Morning downhill walk into forest to reach a large village at Ghandruk populated by Gurung people, the hill tribe of Annapurna region, on reaching Ghandruk for lunch and overnight stop, with afternoon free to explore the village and its small Gurung museum, where you can gather information about the local people and its impressive culture and history.
